Excerpt:Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office: Lt. Mike Linder was honored for preventing an attempted suicide at the Huntley Bridge in December 2004. Linder was returning to the office after responding to an emergency call when he saw a woman walking on the bridge. After he asked whether she was OK, she insisted that she was fine, but Linder decided to keep a close eye on her. After the woman crossed her arms and began falling toward the water, Linder grabbed her coat and pulled her back over the railing to the bridge deck.
